We strive to replace live animals in foundational research training with hyper-realistic silicone models. By offering anatomically accurate replicas that mimic real tissues and organs, we empower students and researchers to develop procedural skills—such as suturing, injections, or surgical incisions—without relying on live animals. This isn’t just an alternative; it’s a new standard for humane, effective learning.
• Reduction
Where replacement isn’t yet fully possible, we aim to reduce the number of animals required for training. Our reusable models allow trainees to practise repeatedly, minimising live animal exposure while building competence and confidence before transitioning to any required live work. This leads to fewer procedures and more skilled professionals entering the field.
• Refinement
For cases where animal use remains unavoidable, we advocate for refinement—using insights gained from our models to improve techniques, minimise discomfort, and ensure higher-quality outcomes when live studies are conducted. By training researchers on precise, realistic simulators first, the live procedures that remain are more targeted, efficient, and ethical.
