The Anthrotek team is thrilled to announce the successful design and delivery of 18 state-of-the-art animatronics for Thursford Park, famous for its enchanting Thursford Christmas Spectacular.
Creating a Magical Experience for the Thursford Christmas Spectacular
The Thursford Christmas Spectacular is a cherished holiday event, known for its festive ambiance and immersive experiences. Anthrotek’s task was to design animatronics that would enhance this magical atmosphere and leave a lasting impression on visitors. Each of the 18 animatronics was meticulously crafted, from their facial expressions and skin textures to their intricate movements, ensuring they embodied the charm and wonder of the season.
Working closely with Thursford’s creative team, we designed animatronics that seamlessly fit into the park’s existing attractions while adding a new layer of depth and realism. Every character, whether whimsical or enchanting, was carefully detailed to engage guests, creating moments that feel magical and authentic.
Face Forge: Merging Tradition with Innovation
Our Face Forge team, celebrated for custom mask creations, played a key role in crafting these animatronics, leveraging our expertise in mask-making and animatronic design.
We pride ourselves on combining time-honored mask-making techniques with contemporary tools such as 3D modelling and 3D face-scanning technology. This blend allows us to create unique, fully personalised pieces that are not only visually captivating but also designed to move and interact in lifelike ways.
